How long have you been at Lexus of Pembroke Pines (CZAG)?
I started with Toyota of Hollywood back in 1986. I was fresh out of high school, going to college and answering phones as a receptionist part time. Back then we were just Toyota of Hollywood. It wasn’t until a few years later when we opened Countyline Lexus, Lexus of Pembroke Pines, Acura of Pembroke Pines, and Lexus of North Miami that we became The Craig Zinn Automotive Group. I spent a good portion of my time with the company as the Inventory Manager. About 8 1/2 years ago I decided to try my hand at sales. I spent 8 years doing Internet Sales at Toyota and selling Lexus and Acura by referral. Just a few months ago I was able to move my office to our Lexus of Pembroke Pines store and make this my home base. This move allows me to be closer to home and closer to my son.
Where did you grow up?
I’m a real Florida native. I was born in North Miami but grew up in the Pembroke Pines area.
What is your favorite movie?
My all time favorite movie…Rain Man with Dustin Hoffman and Tom Cruise.
What do you like to do for fun outside of work?
The most important thing to me is my family. Hence always working towards the perfect balance as Fleet Manager at Lexus of Pembroke Pines & Mommy. I have a two year old son named Max so my best free time is spent with him. Max loves everything outdoors, long walks, going to the park, going to the zoo, and hanging out with family. So, what do I like to do for fun outside of work? I would have to say, anything that Max likes to do.
What car do you drive now?
Lexus LS460.
Tell me what you like about working at Lexus of Pembroke Pines?
Most of all the camaraderie. We have an unbelievable team of associates at Lexus of Pembroke Pines. When you spend as much time at work as we do, you consider your teammates your second family. I feel very fortunate to be able to work in such an atmosphere. Not to mention I truly love what I do. I like being able to assist people with their automotive needs. I find it rewarding and am extremely grateful to my loyal clients and their referrals.
